It will only show pictures if it can find one on the web. Which Info source are you using (Last.FM? Wikipedia?) and which Artist is it?

wiki is working correctly, only last.fm

for example, artist name dire straits, obviously last.fm must have all info about this band.
last.fm info panel show 3 blocks. first "artist", second "album", last one "track"
block "album " showing picture correct.
but block "artist" always show the emplty picture on top.
block "artist" at the bottom has "similar artists", that window as well has empty pictures but show artist names.

So, looks like Last.FM are no longer serving Artist images through their API. Presumably this is for licensing reasons or, knowing last.fm, incompetence reasons. There's nothing I can do. They give me a link to an image, I retrieve the image, and I get '404 not found'.

Last.FM has been dying for years so I don't expect this to be fixed unless I can work out a nasty hacky workaround.
